In comes The BQ Buffered Cable: a handbuild high quality guitar/bass cable (Sommer Instrument Cable OFC Silver coated AWG24) with a buffer transistor built in the Neutrik jack plug!

A buffer is an important tool to combat tone loss with long cable runs or in signal chains running lots of (true bypass) pedals. This Buffer will restore your tonal integrity and give you back the clear and dynamic signal you want (need) and your amp craves.

When using this cable, your guitar's pickups "see" a high impedance and they will sound much more open, clearer and more dynamic as there is no load from the cable and everything that is behind it smothering the sound.

Even though it's not necessarily "better" to drive your tone stack with a buffered signal, the buffered signal will behave differently with the same tone stack compared to an un-buffered high impedance signal. Tone stacks usually loose quality as they cut signals. With the BQ Buffered Cable the signal becomes open, clear and dynamic again, just as you want it!

But as not everybody always needs a buffer, the included BQ Buffer Box is a great solution to put your beloved fuzzface anywhere in the chain without the usual problems when using a buffered signal. 

The BQ Buffer Box is also the power supply for the transistor in the cable, plus it houses the Fuzz Enabler: a small transformer that changes the impedance with an on/off switch. Perfect for the integration and use of your classic fuzzface in the chain of effects. 

And on top of that on the inside of the BQ Buffer Box you will find a small trimpot which you can use to adjust the amount of boost - from no boost to a little extra boost - to enhance your overall drive and noise-floor.
