SOLD! - 1980 Gibson Les Paul Heritage Series Standard 80 Elite VCS

We love these 1980 Les Paul Heritage models and this one is no exception: Sweet warm Honey Burst Elite with a wild flamed/quilted maple top that shows why these are so popular in demand.
 
Made between 1980 and 1982 the Elite was like the Standard-80 but it has a one piece mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard and quilted maple top. The serial number, pot's and date stamps on the Tim Shaw PAF pickups all date this beauty to 1980. The tuners (Gibson Deluxe), trussrod cover (2-ply non engraved) and bridge (ABR-1 retainer wire) were replaced after purchase to get as close as you could get to the real Burst look in 1980. It has also had a new nut and refret. Pots, pickups, electronics, plastics and hardware are original to this guitar.
 
Comes in the original 1980 Gibson Les Paul Brown OHSC case with purple plush lining.
