SOLD! - 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior Cherry Double Cut

The Junior is a very versatile instrument that has it all: When played at maximum volume levels it is loud and aggressive and a mean, pure rock machine. When played at low volume levels though, it sounds so sweet you cannot believe it can do that. Roll back the tone and it sounds nice and jazzy, 50's sound.
 
This is a nice 3.0Kg vibrant instrument that has a big, massive tone - very resonant and clear when played unplugged. The neck is big but very comfortable to play, more '58 then '59.
 
All original, no cracks or breaks! The original Cherry finish shows a lovely brown fading with a nice bit of playwear, patina and weather checking. It has the original pots, "Bumble Bee" capacitor and a super nice P90 "dog-ear" pickup with an BIG output! The frets are still in very good condition. Comes with a non original Les Paul case.
