SOLD! - 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior DC TV Creme
This Junior has without a doubt by far the most ferocious pickup I have ever heard: this is one very angry pickup !!!
When played at maximum volume levels, I can assure you you will hear something you have never heard before. When played at low volume levels though, it sounds so sweet you cannot believe it can do that. It is a lightweight vibrant instrument that has a massive sound - it's a tone monster and needs to be heard to be believed! Very resonant and melodic when played unplugged.
Solid double cutaway mahogany body with rounded edges, one-piece mahogany neck with that great '59 style profile and rosewood fretboard with 22 original jumbo frets and inlaid pearl dot position markers. Headstock with "Gibson" logo silk-screened in gold. Black plastic bell-shaped truss-rod cover with two screws. Single-line Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with white plastic oval buttons. Serial number "9 0924" inked-on in black on the back of the headstock. One super hot 1959 P-90 pickup with a huge output. Black plastic pickup cover. Two controls (one volume, one tone) on the lower treble bout. Combination "wrap-over" bar bridge/stud tailpiece. Frets and fretboard in very good condition. The finish lights up under blacklight perfectly all over!
