Fender Gold/Pink Paisley '68 Telecaster replica built with 1965 parts
Very cool Fender Pink Paisley Telecaster replica built by the insane guys of Isle of Tone with the best of parts and cheaper then a Fender Aged Custom Shop Paisley that doesn't even look half as cool...
The body is a guitarbuild.co.uk Telecaster body and all the work like correct routing, pink paisley paper, pink and gold nitro finish, aging etc are all done by hand by Steve, the painter for Isle Of Tone pedals. The neck is an old Allparts Telecaster neck and was fitted with a correct Fender Telecaster logo and Fender F-tuners. The neckplate, bridge, saddles, screws, strapholders, F-tuners etc are all premium aged parts from Crazyparts in Germany.
The neck and bridge pickup are real vintage and such a set would cost EUR 2000 - 2500 alone easy!
- original 1965 Fender Telecaster Pre CBS enamel wire black bottom neck pickup (6.6K Ohm)
- original 1965 Fender Telecaster Pre CBS enamel wire grey bottom bridge pickup (6.5K Ohm)
- original 1966 CTS pots with a real 1950's Capacitor.
The Pickups have the original windings and the neck pickup is not soldered to the tone control to get it brighter (as many did back in the day) but straight through. This would be reversible in 5 minutes however.
