This is one of the first hand built Panucci '59 Inspired Series Les Paul model guitars, built from scratch by luthier Angelo Van Merrienboer from Panucci Custom Guitars.
This Panucci was inspired by Bernie Marsden’s road warrior ’59 Les Paul, affectionately nicknamed The Beast.
Bernie Marsden is one of the true road warriors of rock. As a founding member of Whitesnake and guitarist with U.F.O. and several other bands, projects, and notable solo artists, he has laid down some of rock’s hottest riffs for over five decades, and his prized '59 Les Paul, serial number 9 1914, has been there through it all. “Every Whitesnake record I did has that guitar on it - I wrote all those songs on that guitar,” Bernie confided of an instrument that cost him £500 in 1974, though “it may as well have been 50 grand at the time”...

Angelo's guitars are played by several professional artists on stages and in studio's all over Europe for over 10 years. We even have a Panucci customer in the US!

Angelo's goal is to inspire musicians. To help them find their match in the ever ongoing quest for the holy grail. To make them create new songs, sounds and melodies. His guitars should give you the wow factor. His attention to detail is second to none, as is the quality of his ageing work!
