Finally the wait is over! Nacho Baños from Nacho Guitars is well known all over the world for his amazing recreations of '50s Telecasters called Nachocasters and after several announcements and posts over the past years it is finally here: The Nachoburst!!

First hinted at in an early 2023 Instagram post, this guitar reflects Nacho Baños’s dedication to authentically reproducing iconic vintage guitars and after recreating the Telecaster and Stratocaster, now it was time for the legendary '59 Gibson Les Paul.

Nacho's guitars are the materialization of a burning passion. Nacho has over 15 years hands-on experience building the most amazing looking and sounding 50's style Blackguards, Whiteguards and Stratocasters which made him famous all over the world.

Nachos’s passion and expertise are well-documented through his publications, The Blackguard Book and The Pinecaster Book, which explore the history and construction of early solid-body electric guitars. His commitment to detail ensures that each guitar he recreates captures the essence of the original instruments, appealing to enthusiasts seeking vintage aesthetics and sound all around the globe.

To achieve this level of authenticity for the Nachoburst series, Nacho and his team have developed custom made pickguards, pickup rings, nickel-plated brass saddles, thumbwheels, posts, NAF pickups (Nacho Applied For), vintage-spec 500k Nacho-pots, lacquer formulas and more. Every detail is crafted using their original Gibson collection as a reference, with guidance and support from a board of Gibson Les Paul experts like Julian Lange and Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top)! Gibbons’s endorsement of the Burst series underscores the quality and authenticity of these instruments. In interviews, Gibbons has shared his appreciation for Nacho Guitars and their faithful reproductions of vintage classics.

The guitar you're watching is an original 3.89Kg -First Batch- low serial Nacho Banos "Nachoburst".

It started out as an original USA Gibson Les Paul HCS 50's model with a solid mahogany body and neck (swietenia macrophylla) and a solid maple top (acer saccharum), that was reshaped with a stunning re-curve by Nacho's top luthiers who learned the trade in Cremona shaping violins and cellos, and then refinished in Cherry Sunburst nitro finish and aged. It has an Indian rosewood fretboard (Dalbergia latifolia) with true vintage style trapeze inlays, medium size frets, vintage style Nacho Banos made humbucker pickups, aged vintage style hardware and plastic parts, vintage style Kluson USA tuners, Nacho Banos 500K potentiometers and classic vintage style bumble bee capacitors. NO CITES certificates are required and no restriction is applied for international shipping!

The heart and soul of the Les Paul conversions are the NAF (Nacho Applied For) Humbuckers and Nacho 500K vintage spec Pots. As their approach to guitar making is not based on pics/books but rather hands-on experience, they were using real vintage '58-'59-'60 Les Paul's as the role models for this project. For months they have been making sound tests and developed a set of PAFs which capture the great deep 3-dimensional huge tone while still clear, velvet and well defined of the best Bursts.

During the sound tests they equipped the Nachobursts with a set of real 1958 PAF pickups, and while comparing them to real 58/60 Bursts, they nor Billy Gibbons could tell the difference. This means the base wood sounds just as good as a real Burst with the same pickups installed! On top of all hardware was replaced for vintage correct Tuneomatic bridges and tailpieces, zinc plated brass thumbwheels, posts and saddles, correct spec Burst pickguards, poker chips, jack plates... They have even invested in a new injection mould to produce their own version of the CAB pickup rings!

Comes in the standard Gibson USA brown case, not the real Burst case pictured... ;-)

"Nowadays there are many different interpretations of the Les Paul theme. We don't pretend to be better than anyone. But we love, breathe and play real genuine vintage Bursts every single day."
