SOLD! - 2024 September Sound 73 Skylove #1 1973 Big Muff Fuzz Rams Head Pi
September Sound is a highly regarded and very exclusive boutique Japanese guitar effects pedal brand run by master builder Shinichiro Hayashi.
In early 2024, September Sound announced a premium boutique fuzz pedal project named the 73Skylove mission: The objective was to build a high-end, carefully crafted hand made boutique fuzz pedal with a huge amount of sonical options based around the magical 1973 Big Muff Rams Head Pi fuzz pedal. The project was priced at 110,000 JPY / EUR 559 (plus shipping), making it a highly exclusive collector's piece in the guitar pedal community.
Needless to say these were sold out before they even shipped it....
**** The pedal we have here is the very first one built, serial #1 !!!!!! ****
It was never used live or on stage so it still is in pristine collector grade condition. However, when plugged, this one will blow you away... The sound is MASSIVE with endless sustain!!! Think David Gilmour, Billy Corgan, Jack White but also Tony Iommi, Jimi Hendrix, Dan Auerbach, Josh Homme... It's all in there with a flick of a switch!
It comes complete with the original box, paperwork and packing material, just as it came straight from Japan!
And oh yes... This baby sounds exactly like the real vintage '73 Rams Head Big Muff pedals, but without the hiss and super reliable to use :-)
