Extremely rare one-off custom order 1952 - 2022  70th Anniversary Made 2 Measure Les Paul Custom '56 reissue in TV Yellow finish and with a '59 neck profile.
 
To finish off the magic it has the legendary Alnico V Staple pickup in the neck and a P90 in the bridge, just like the original 1954-1955-1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom guitars.

And with only 3,8kgs this is probably the lightest Custom we have seen in a long time!

Seeking to combine the worlds of the TV Special and the '54 Custom, Guitar Point in Germany custom ordered this beautiful guitar in all mahogany with a bound body, carved top, block inlay, neck binding, a P90 and an Alnico V staple pickup. The guitar is in very nice collector condition.

The woodgrain of the all mahogany body shows nicely through the custom order TV Yellow finish, just like it does on mid-late 50's Gibson les Paul TV Juniors and Specials. The sweet custom order ‘59 neck profile is very comfortable to play and the guitar is very resonant unplugged.

Stick it into an amp dialed into it's boiling point and the P90 in the bridge drives it like a dream. This thing cut's through the mix in any band situation and it can sound anywhere from clean to a punchy roar with a little turn on the volume knob.

The Alnico V staple neck pickup is a beast and we know it. But it can also sound sweet, warm and jazzy. It is much more open than a standard P90 and it has so much more character than the average P90. What's not to love?!!

All the original hangtags and paperwork are included as well as the original Gibson Les Paul brown hardshell case, COA, plain black plastic selector cavity cover etc.
