This Murphy Lab Aged'59 Reissue is a superb guitar with an amazing top that shows a beautiful subtle flame and great mineral streaks that draw lines straight over the body from left to right!! Together with the nice caramel/ tea burst finish and ageing it really strikes as a real '59 Burst!
 
The feeling of this guitar is sweet, vintage and it has lots of mojo. The neck is a fat '59 neck going towards a '58 and the ageing on the back is pretty subtle with heavy craquelé but not too much wear. The guitar plays effortlessly and it is one of the better Murphy guitars we played!
 
The guitar is in near mint condition and all original from the tuners, superb open sounding pickups, pots, capacitors, wiring, knobs, pickguard, switch, to the last screw. It's a real collectors piece if it weren't for the fact it plays and sounds so damn well...!!
