Super rare lightweight one-off Gibson 1958 Les Paul "InSaul" Aged by Tom Murphy!

This makes your ears and eyes ring: what a name, what a look and what a sound! This guitar was custom made by the Gibson Custom Shop as part of the extremely limited "Inspired by" series from Musikhaus Hermann after a personal wood selection by Jörg Hermann. And look at the almost purple shining dark red of the back of the body and neck... Absolutely stunning!!

The inspiration for this guitar was the favorite Axe of Saul Hudson, known as Slash, guitarist of Guns'n'Roses, Slash's Snakepit, Velvet Revolver etc.

It was personally hand-aged by Tom Murphy himself. ...and what a killer job he has done. Again... Super authentic hairline cracks, rub-off in the significant places and just the wear you would expect from a favorite guitar played for years. It doesn't get any better than this!

The beautiful overall look, which is further complemented by the aged hardware and the beautifully flamed top, is also matched by the sound of this Les Paul. The Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico II pickups conjure up the characteristic sound that you know and love from the albums "Appetite for Destruction" and "Use your Illusion".

On a clean amp the pickups sound warm, clear, balanced and punchy. The neck pickup really delivers fat, bluesy and jazzy sounds. Warm and open. The bridge pickup on the other hand, shines with crisper, more concise mids without missing any warmth. With tight basses and velvety smooth highs the sound is perfectly balanced. With excellent dynamics the pickups complete the outstanding sustain of the guitar. Just as musically as in clean mode, this guitar really shines in a Marshall on 11, roaring and sining like no other.

Due to its extremely strict limitation this guitar is not only suited for the meusician that wants more, it also represents an extremely interesting investment with appreciation potential to the max.
