From Freddie King to Jeff Beck, many great pickers have been attracted the unique character of the "wraparound" tailpiece of a '54 Les Paul Goldtop. Some believe it's the wraparound tailpiece that creates a distinct tonality, vocal quality and maximizes sustain. One thing is for sure: there is certainly something special about the Les Paul  wraparound models and Gibson Custom Shop created this '54 Reissue to perfectly recapture the look, feel, and tone of the originals.

Nice deep Double Gold Nitrocellulose finish in VOS vintage patina, 2-piece maple top, 1-piece Lightweight solid mahogany back with mid 50's rounded body edges, Solid mahogany neck with a chunky mid 50's C-shape with perfect feel, Hide glue fitting, Indian Rosewood fretboard, Aged Cellulose Trapezoid inlays, Nickel hardware, Kluson single line single ring tuners, speed knobs etc. Nice and sweet sounding soapbar P90's
 
Comes including the original Gibson Lifton '54 reissue 5-latch hardshell case with pink lining and Certificate COA booklet.
