1996 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 1956 Custom Shop Historic Reissue "R6" in great and original condition. 
 
The R6 is a pretty rare guitar and an absolute joy to play. It has the perfect blend of early Les Paul features like the P90's and optimal playability because of the Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece setup.
 
Its sound is nice and balanced, very resonant and it has lots of sustain. The Deep gold nitro lacquer has a beautiful gold tint, and the classic combination of a carved maple top and solid mahogany body has never looked any better. 
 
The strong quartersawn mahogany neck has a chunky C profile that's firmly in the hand but its not as big as the '54 necks. The guitar has a few nicks here and there but nothing serious and over all this looks really shiny and new! 4.1Kg so pretty ok for a mid 90's Goldtop.
 
Comes including the original Brown w/ pink shroud Gibson Hardshell Case and because it's from the pre-COA era thats about it!
