SOLD! - 1988 Gibson EDS-1275 6+12 String SG doubleneck Alpine White
Hey, hey, hey!! That's 2 guitars for the price of 1, innit?!!
Most guitarists have enough struggle with one neck... However, there are times when you might have to play delicate fingerpicked intros on a 12 string, and rock hard with a great big Rockin’ Guitar Solo on that 6 string in the end. Perhaps you have developed a technique that requires tapping on two necks at once, or you just like the feeling of dislocated discs that comes with using a multi-neck guitar ;-) Hey, we don’t judge!
Back in the 70's there was a whole host of players that created music requiring different tonal changes that could not achieve them with guitar effects available at the time. Some used a double neck for different tunings, some used the multi-necked guitar as a novelty to bring out for a song or two in the set. But one thing is for sure: they all set their mark in time and history!
This 1980's Alpine White Gibson EDS-1275 Double Neck offers the legendary looks and sound of some of the worlds biggest guitar heroes of the past and current generations: Jimmy Page, Steve Howe, Alex Lifeson, Don Felder, Zakk Wylde, Rick Nielson, Steve Vai, John McLaughlin, Slash and the list goes on.
It is an exceptionally fine all original example in near mint condition with only some weather checking and hardly any playwear! Everything on this guitar is original and in amazing condition, from the pickups, pots, electronics and parts to the frets finish and massive Gibson black rectangular hardshell case with blue plush lining.
