SOLD! - 1982 Gibson Flying V Alpine White 1980's
This is a very rare early 1980's Gibson Alpine White Flying V with matching headstock in excellent condition and all original. The Flying V with solid mahagony body and stop-tailpiece was built between 1975 and 1982.
Vintage Alpine White V's are hard to find and this one is all original. Mahogany body and nice mahogany C-shape set neck, rosewood fretboard, original Gibson patent Number pickups, electronics, pots, switch, plastics, knobs, bridge, stoptail, Gibson tuners, even the original Gibson Flying V case is in great condition. The Alpine White finish has aged lovely into a creme white with nice patina. No cracks, breaks or repairs!
The guitar is pretty lightweight with 3.2Kg and plays very easy. It has a spot on the headstock from hanging on a wall hanger and a few marks on the tip of the "V" from standing but otherwise it is in great condition. Hardly any wear on the neck, body and headstock, fretboard is in great condition as are the original frets.
