Here's your new secret weapon!

This little guy has been the secret weapon of an entire range of artists, from Ryan Adams to Glen Campbell and Tommy Tedesco to Jim Campilongo.

The Princeton Reverb is a nice weight small combo and you can take it anywhere. It’ll fit in your front seat, it would fit in an overhead compartment on an airplane, and it’ll certainly fit on any stage, no matter what size! And on top of that this thing sounds pretty damn great.

Having tremolo and reverb on such a small amp makes it a wonderfully versatile amp and the simple control panel makes it easy to quickly dial in a great tone. And it is louder and has more bottom end then you'd expect!!! (if fitted with a proper 12inch speaker)

The transformers and pots date to 1979 (but the serial says 1981) and the electronics, tolex, grillcloth, knobs, reverb, cabinet, chassis etc are original to this amp! Comes including a new footswitch. Changes and modifications: The original 10inch Fender speaker was changed for a 12inch Tayden UK handmade High Brit 50 which gives you way more bottom end, bell tone and power. Also the 12AX7A reverb tube was modified into a 12DW7 for better Reverb control!

1970's Fender Princeton amps are easily the best value tube amplifier on the vintage market today. The circuit didn't change significantly since the 1964 Blackface models until the pull boost was added in 1978. They are still hand wired with quality components and easily repaired when they wear out. Today's reissue Princeton Reverbs don't sound the same and are manufactured with a printed circuit board that's prone to failure and requires total replacement. Handwired amps are easily repaired by a qualified technician for the rest of your lifetime, may it be long and filled with killer tone...

This Princeton has a lovely sweet tremolo and warm reverb running at about 12WATTs over a dual push-pull 6V6GT power tube. It delivers the real American Fender Tone with punchy, responsive lows paired with chimey highs. When cranked it sounds more "vintage" than the bigger two-channel amps, meaning more breakup in the lower frequencies and mid-focused tone. Although this amp you would typically buy for its beautiful clean tones!
