Very resonant and lightweight 3.0Kg player SG!
The original Cherry finish faded to a beautiful Walnut on the front, whereas the back still has some Cherry in the color. It has a very steady headstock repair with a light scar on front of headstock.
The original Tarback Gibson Humbuckers sound great, as long as you replace the standard 300k volume and 100k tone pots for 500k ones (as already been done with this axe!). This really opens up the sound of these guitars! New bone nut installed with a wider string spacing which enhances the playability of the usually somewhat narrower necks, this one is 40mm at the nut which is pretty nice.
Comes in a standard SG hardshell case or an original 1969-1972 SG case as an optional extra.
