The Marshall model 1959 is one of the most iconic amplifiers in rock history. Often called the "Plexi," because of the plexiglass face plates used up untill 1968, the 1959 (which has nothing to do with the year it was made..) has a huge tone sought after since Rock entered the 60's. The Who, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin - just to name a few - have used these heads on recordings and in live shows. Nothing sounds bigger...

The heads made in 1973 are the last of the Mohicans as these are still handwired, although on a printed board. Here is tons of vintage rock tone on tap and as loud as you need. It has had a bit of work done to it but the main stuff is real and original: transformers, most capacitors and electronics.

Comes with a beautiful set of old Philips EL34 power tubes and Philips and Mullard preamp tubes installed!
