1969 (early/mid) Fender Stratocaster Sunburst w/ Tremolo

This Jimi Hendrix tone and vibe Stratocaster is 100% original and a cool example of an early/mid 1969 guitar which has no cracks, breaks, repairs, refins, touch-ups, modifications or routes whatsoever!

It has all the vibe and sound you are looking for in a Strat and it is all original! The body is from 1969 with a 089 body date stamp, original Sunburst finish faded to a lovely two-tone with a nice vibrant red still visible around the edges. The body has several marks, dings, dongs and playwear on the front, back and sides, just as we want it. This guitar was played!! 

The neck dates 22APR69B (April 1969) and has the original finish front, back and headstock in great shape. It feels super sweet and easy in your hands, you can feel and hear the resonance of the wood of this guitar when strumming. The stunning dark fretboard with perloid dots is in great condition and it was refretted by well known pro luthier Charly Romero from Jerez, Spain. He also replaced the nylon nut for a bone nut. Everything lights up nicely under UV. It has the typical "Hendrix" Big headstock with Pat 2,741,146  3,143,028 and a single stringtree.

The all original Grey Bottom staggered polepiece pickups date 1209 (week 20, 1969) and sound absolutely amazing. Warm with lots of bells and tinkles and aggressive in the bridge with power for leads. All pickups are original with the original wire and leads. The original CTS pots date 137 6618 (week 19 1966) and the guitar has it's original wiring, capacitor, all untouched solder, a CRL 3-Way switch and the original F tuners, bridge, tremolo arm, Fender PAT PEND saddles and original plastics: pickguard, pickup covers, knobs, switchtip, tremolo arm etc. The case is a Fender Cheney England rectangular case with orange plush lining, Fender no tail logo in very good condition.
