SOLD! - 1965-1968 Marshall Pinstripe 4x12 1960a Angled Cab Celestion G12M T1220

Very rare and original Marshall pinstripe 4x12 cabinet with leather handle straps in great condition - there are not many for sale in the world...

This cab is built and signed by Jim Marshall: "Made by Jim Marshall, England, 5553"

Further investigation leads us to believe this is a 1966 #1960A angled top cabinet (serialnumber, leather handles, woodwork) that originally had a quad of Celestion Alnico T0652 speakers. It was probably upgraded in 1968 with the then new and more powerfull Celestion G12M T1220 greenback speakers. The pinstripe grillcloth, grey/blue tolex, woodwork, wiring, handles etc are all original. The only thing replaced is the High End repro Marshall Logo.

The speakers are 4 x original Celestion G12M T1220 20WATT Pre Rola Greenbacks, all date stamped 11AA (January 11, 1968) on the front gasket and all original Pulsonic cones are stamped 34/102/003.
