This amp has an incredibly cool vintage vibe that appeals to collectors, session players and musicians alike and it sounds like what Rock'n'Roll is supposed to sound like. Without a doubt this is one of the coolest amps in the world...

The famous croc-skin Selmers are probably the most sought-after models due to their exotic good looks. Imitation crocodile- and snake skin finishes were commonly seen on British footwear and fashion accessories in the mid-sixties, and Selmer departed from their normally staid and traditional finishes by adopting a very striking two-tone croc-skin/black colour scheme - just in time for the September 1963 British Music Trade Fair.

This amplifier is in good working order and is ready to hit the stage with or to record with in the studio, featuring built-in reverb and tremolo, the famous 'Blinking-Eye' front panel indicator, and the original gold two-button footswitch for Reverb and Tremolo! It has been recently serviced and some capacitors have been changed. Also it has seen a few modifications. The normal channel 1 is disabled but can be restored very easy. Channel 2 is the to-go-to channel anyway with Tremolo, Reverb and all different sound options. The original reverb was replaced for a much better quality Accutronics & Belton Reverb, as are the 2 handles on top. The speakers are recent Celestion G12M 20WATT's model T1220.

The power amp section was also modified at some point and now has a small board on there with 2 x EL34, 1 x ECC83/12AX7 and a pair of original 60's transformers which works perfect for the 50W power but also holds a Master Volume so you can use this amp cranked without ripping off the wallpaper of the walls of your apartment!!

This amp is very powerful and has a tremendously satisfying bass response and a barking, fat British overdrive and growl. ARE YOU READY TO ROCK??!!
