SOLD! - 1963 Gibson Les Paul SG Standard w/ sideways Vibrola

57 Years ago a yet to become famous Dutch "Indo Rocker" from The Hague asked one of his Indonesian sailor friends to bring him home a top of the line Gibson Les Paul SG from the US, and so he did.
 
21 Years later, in 1984, it changed hands into another famous Dutch guitarist that played in numerous bands on the frontier of Dutch rock.
 
And today, it is back in The Hague where it belongs...
 
There are several pictures of the 2 previous owners with this guitar and there is even a 1965 album cover of the first owner holding this very guitar!
 
This original 1963 LP/SG still has the "Les Paul" trussrod cover, original pots, Patent Applied For stickered PAF Humbuckers, plastics, tuners, bridge, yellow lined case etc. and has that typical airy PAF sound to it that is so hard to replicate... The back of the headstock shows a small hairline but as far as we can tell it's not a big crack and it blacklights without overspray/repair.
 
It's a rare gem and we are proud to have it in our collection. But it's time to let go and now it can be yours!
