SOLD! - 1961 Peter Max Baranet Gibson SG/Les Paul Custom Polaris white Sideways

This killer axe is a 1961-62 Gibson SG / Les Paul Custom, refinished and rebuilt by the legendary Peter "MAX" Baranet! (Who built and modified guitars for the guitar gods such as SLASH, Gibbons, Clapton, Santana, Van Halen, Beck, Prince etc etc...) It already blacklights like an old one!
 
No cracks or breaks and only 2.9Kg !!
 
This guitar was originally sold by Scott Sheldon and he confirmed on March 26, 2021 that this guitar was done by Max, who is known to be an avid fan of '61-'62 SG Les Paul's)
 
The frets are brand new jumbo frets and the guitar plays and sounds amazing! It is currently setup with 3 volume controls and 1 master tone so there’s a whole array of cool sounds to dial in with each pickup separately or combined as you wish! The pickups are 3 x long magnet PAF Humbuckers handbuilt and wound by Max, there's a repro pickguard with exact w/b/w bevel on there, aged Sideways Vibrola, 60's Grover's, 60's ABR-1 bridge with replaced saddles, 60's knobs, 60's capacitors polyesterine 0.22mf, POT's are high end Toco's as used by Max.
Comes including the pictured Gibson original hardshell case with yellow/gold lining.
