SOLD! - 1961 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow - 3.2Kg!!

This guitar is part of "The Sisters": Two Gibson Les Paul Special guitars built in 1961 that are only a few serial numbers apart from each other... These have been produced together for sure and after more then 60 years they are back together again!!
 
The 1961 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow has serial 2325, weighs just 3.2kg!! and as her sister it is all original without cracks, breaks or repairs.
 
The TV finish has a beautiful almost warm yellow shine and it has playwear, dings, dongs and craquele all around. The neck feels very comfortable and is typical for the era, although a bit rounder then her Cherry counterpart. It has some wear from playing, as does the fretboard and frets, plays super smooth. The pickups are powerfull and open.
