SOLD! - 1961 Gibson Les Paul Special Cherry DC

This guitar is part of "The Sisters": Two Gibson Les Paul Special guitars built in 1961 that are only a few serial numbers apart from each other... These have been produced together for sure and after more then 60 years they are back together again!!
 
The 1961 Gibson Les Paul Special Cherry has serial 2351 and weighs 3.7kg It is all original from the single line kluson deluxe strip tuners, reflector knobs, P90's, pots, electronics, bumblebee capacitors, pickguard, plastics etc. It has no cracks, breaks or repairs and the finish shows a beautiful gloss and craquele. The neck feels very comfortable and is typical for the era. It has some wear from playing, as does the fretboard and frets, plays super smooth. The pickups are powerfull and open.
