SOLD! - 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior Cherry DC Double Cut

The Les Paul Junior is a very versatile instrument that has it all: When played at maximum volume levels it is loud and aggressive and a mean, pure rock machine. When played at low volume levels though, it sounds so sweet you cannot believe it can do that. Roll back the tone and it sounds nice and jazzy, 50's sound. It is a nice 3.3KG vibrant instrument that has a massive tone - very resonant and clear when played unplugged. The neck is very comfortable to play and has a late '59-early '60's profile.
 
Apart from the transition from Wrap-around tailpiece to Tune-O-Matic / Stoptail (which is not dead straight and is a bit off), this one is pretty much original. No cracks or breaks! The original Cherry finish has weather checked all over and shows a heavy craquele. The cherry red has faded to a lovely brown on the front and back. It has the original electronics with '60 pots, a "Bumble Bee" capacitor and a super nice original P90 "dog-ear" pickup with a big output like we are used to on these Juniors! The frets are still in very good condition. Comes with a non original case.
