SOLD! - 1959 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow Double Cut

Now here's another super Rock Monster for you - it won't get any cooler then this!!

This very original 1959 Gibson Les Paul TV Special is an incredible sounding battle axe with superb dynamics & powerful resonance. And with only 3,3Kg this guitar has a great weight so it's super comfortable to play for long periods of time and very easy to handle. This guitar looks amazing and has hardly any wear.

The two original P90's deliver a punchy, ballsy rock tone that seem to sustain for days and have a lot of bite and aggressive power. The neck is a nice and comfortable typical '59 and feels super smooth. POT's and electronics are original with untouched solder, tuners, plastics, pickguard and even the wraparound tailpiece are original!

The original frets have minor wear and lot's of life left in them. The TV Yellow finish is nice and warm and shows mild checking on the body, neck and headstock. It's all original, no refins, no touch-ups. The only 2 things I should note are a small stressline on the corner of the heel but as far as we can tell it never chipped off and didn't need repair, it shows perfect under blacklight. Second I guess at some point it fell flat on it's face and the volume knob was pushed into the body. It was repaired but not" overly" repaired and now it looks somewhat like the yellow little brother of the famous "Memphis Mojo Burst". 
 
Comes in a later standard Les Paul case, or we can throw in the early 50's Lifton case pictured at an extra cost.
