SOLD! - 1959 Gibson Les Paul Special TV Yellow Double Cut

Now here's another super rare Rock Monster for you - it won't get any cooler then this!!
 
This very original 1959 Gibson Les Paul TV Special is incredible sounding battle axe with superb dynamics & powerful resonance. And with only 3,3Kg this guitar has a great weight so it's super comfortable to play for long periods of time and very easy to handle. This guitar looks amazing and has hardly any wear.
 
The two original P90's deliver a punchy, ballsy rock tone that seem to sustain for days and have a lot of bite and aggressive power. The neck is a nice and comfortable typical '59 and feels super smooth. POT's and electronics are original with untouched solder, tuners, plastics, pickguard and even the wraparound tailpiece are original! Case is an aged Gibson Les Paul Lifton 5-latch.
 
The original frets have minor wear and lot's of life left in them. The TV Yellow finish is nice and warm and shows mild checking on the body, neck and headstock. It's all original though, no refins, no touch-ups. The only 2 things I should note are a small stressline on the corner of the heel but as it never chipped off it didn't need repair and it shows perfect under blacklight. Second I guess at some point it fell flat on it's face and the volume knob was pushed into the body. It was repaired but not" overly" repaired and now it looks somewhat like the famous "Memphis Mojo Burst".
