1959-1960 Fender Stratocaster Telecaster Case Brown Tolex

This case - also known as the “Knucklebuster” - is in great condition, all latches and hinges work although both latches dont have working springs anymore, which is normal for cases from this period.
 
Please note this REALLY IS A 1959-1960 Fender Stratocaster case as it has the typical coffee-with-cream type brown color tolex, brown leather ends, a burnt-orange plush golden interior and - very distinctive for the 59-60 case - the center manual latch position directly under the case handle!!
 
Up to 1959 Fender had the side pocket tweed cases, in 1959 and 1960 the case as the one for sale was the standard and in 1960 the center manual latch changed position from under the case handle to just outside of the case handle on the left. In 1961 the cases got the dark orange plush interior.
