1954 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Wraparound Goldtop
This all original and very beautiful 1954 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is a great example of the amazing mid 50's Goldtop's It has no cracks, no breaks, no repairs and everything on this guitar is from 1954 with untouched solder!
It is exactly as it came from the factory in 1954 including the Lifton 5-latch brown bulb-head case, which is pretty worn though. The gold finish is in great condition with no overspray whatsoever. It shows this beautiful light weather checking all around and has a warm and lush golden glow over it.
It has the perfect neck angle, a very nice low action and comfortable big chunky neck! It really sings and is LOUD acoustically. Plugged the neck pickup is warm bluesy/jazzy and has a nice deep profound sound, the bridge pickup is aggressive and has a super attack and roars punchy lead sounds.
Many guitarists consider this to be the ultimate "blues machine" as the sustain and sound on these guitars are just unbelievable!! And I can only agree... ;-)
