SOLD! - 1954 Fender Tweed Super 5C4 5D4 Amp Wide Panel
This is a real rare piece of Fender history and it sounds great.
The Tweed Super is the baby brother of the Bassman in many respects, offering the same harmonic rich, dynamic tones in a more studio friendly and portable enclosure with 2 x 6L6 power tubes and 3 x 12AX7.
The low end is fat and thick, the midrange has the perfect amount of punch, and the top end is classic '50s Fender rock with detail and balance that few other amps can match.
Clear and present, with incredible low end response even at low volumes, the Super allows you to easily dial in the right amount of bite and a touch of overdrive when you dig in.
After around 4-5 on the volume dial and 8-10 on the tone, the amp cascades into full tube saturation, with sweet, singing overdrive and raw rock power.
Recently fully serviced and completely rebuilt from the ground up, this Fender Super sounds every bit as good as a vintage amp would suggest. The Tweed Super is a standout favorite among collectors and players alike because of its pure power and raw rock sound!
