SOLD! - 1953 Supro Valco Chicago 51 Tweed combo 5W

Superb little Tweed combo amp with the original 10" ROLA speaker date stamped 285319 (week 18 1953), 2 x RCA Electron 6V6GT power tubes, RCA Electron 5Y3GT rectifier, 1 x 6SC7 phase inverter and 1 x 6SQ7 preamp tubes. The output and B-46 power transformer are also original and date to 1953 (166320 week 20 1953), as are the cabinet, chassis, tweed, knobs and the original pouch with the 2AMP spare fuse stapled to the inside of the cabinet.

The sound of these little gems is so sweet, it's like the 50's and 60's just walked into your studio and showed you what it sounded like back in the day. Cool overdrive sounds when pushed with either guitar, all the way from Jimmy Page and ZZ Top to warm and jazzy Fender Champ and Princeton Tweed sounds with a little more chime and clarity!

This amp is all original apart from a couple of changed caps (originals included), a 3-prong grounded power cable and a new leather handle.
