SOLD! - 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Wrap around

It is loud acoustically and really sings, plugged it's even louder :-) These early 50's Les Paul Goldtop's never fail to surprise me, time and time again...
 
This very beautiful 1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is again an amazing mid 50's Les Paul. It  was professionally converted from the early Trapeze to a perfect pitch Wrap-around tailpiece. Also it has a repaired hairline crack on the back of the neck but it is very very hard to see. The repair was flawless and it has a little overspray on the back.
 
The gold finish is in very good condition with just a little wear and some nice checking.  It has a warm and lush vibrant glow over it with no overspray or touchups. The P90 pickups, pots and wiring is original with untouched solder, as are the plastics, switch and tuners. The bridge is a MojoAxe wrap around and the studs are vintage 1-inch long steel ones for extra sustain. Comes with the original case as well.
 
It has a good neck angle with a very nice action, plays effortlessly! If you would decide to change the frets for medium jumbo's in the future, this would enhance the playability even more so! The '53 neck has a soft round profile and feels super easy and comfortable in the hand. 
 
The neck pickup is warm bluesy/jazzy and has a nice deep profound sound, the bridge pickup is aggressive and has a super attack and roars punchy lead sounds.
 
Many guitarists consider this to be the ultimate guitar as the sustain and sound on these are just incredible and it is hard to believe that they are only priced at about 10% of a real Burst..
