SOLD! - 1952 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop w/ Trapeze Tailpiece - REFIN
Here's a great early 50's Les Paul Goldtop for sale for those who want to step into the vintage world of Gibson Goldtop's for the first time.
It is a very cool looking 70's refinish that already started to age nicely and lights up under blacklight. But most important: No breaks, cracks or repairs and the original P90 pickups, pot's, electronics, tuners, knobs and tailpiece. The bridge was replaced for a wrap-over style bridge so you can palm mute and intonate, which is pretty much impossible with the original style trapeze bridge from '52 and early-mid '53. The neck angle is pretty ok and the action is low. Comes with a recent Gibson Lifton Custom Shop case.
So here you go. You can either enjoy this as it is: a 70 year old lady that sounds great and plays very sweets but didn't stand the test of time to well and had some changes done to her appearance, or you take this as the base of an amazing conversion into a revibed 57 Goldtop or even a Burst with a set of PAF's in there.
We leave it up to you to decide but it's a great opportunity for sure!
