1969 Gibson ES-150 DC DW Walnut
Super nice and rare 1969 Gibson ES-150 DC in the original Walnut brown finish and original '69 Gibson yellow/gold lining hardshell case. It's a transitional model between '69 and '70 with no volute and the "Made In USA" stamp. The guitar is in excellent and all original condition and has only light playwear for an instrument 50 years old. There's some beautiful finish checking, light scratches and chips and a few small dings as seen in the pictures.
The pickups are the original Gibson Patent Number sticker humbuckers with the original pickup covers. The frets are the original "fretless wonder" frets and it plays very well. Plenty of life left in them. Its a bliss to play. All original.
If you like the sound of an ES-335 then this would be a winner! Jesse Van Ruller plays one of these a lot. The ES-150 DC was similar to the popular ES-335 TD in many ways, but with a thicker hollowbody front to back and only a small sound post by the neck instead of a full block running down the middle of the guitar.
